Ingredients
dry
6 oz cornmeal
6 oz AP flour
5 oz sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/8 tsp salt
wet
12 oz buttermilk
3 eggs
3 oz melted butter
Method
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Mix wet ingredients.
- Mix wet into dry and bake at 375 degrees. Cooking time will depend on pan (in general 20-50 minutes). Cornbread is done when an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Serve warm. Cold cornbread is an injustice.
