This drink really hits the spot if you like a lot of sour and spicy and a little sweet.
Ingredients
3 slices (about one third of a whole) jalpeno
2 oz silver tequila
1 oz St. Germain (Elderflower Liquer)
juice of 1 lime (about 1 oz)
juice of half a ruby red grapefruit (about 4 oz), strained
**optional garnish: 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Method
1. In a jigger muddle the slices of jalapeno very well.
2. Add tequila, St. Germain, lime juice and grapefruit juice and shake well with a few pieces of ice.
3. Combine salt, sugar and pepper thoroughly and use it to rim a lowball (Old Fashioned) glass. Use lime or grapefruit rind to wet the rim so they stick well.
4. Fill glass 2/3 with ice and strain drink over ice.
